Bio

Leslie CulbertsonWith a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oregon in Jewelry and Metalsmithing, my background contributes to my production of diverse jewelry lines. My work incorporates a variety of materials, from traditional and precious materials to non-precious materials and found objects. The stones, gems and metal designs in my jewelry are inspired by the places I have traveled and some I have called home – from New York to San Diego, Hawaii and the beautiful coast of Oregon.

Sold nationally to top American Craft galleries, my jewelry has appeared in SNAGOrnament Magazine, Metalsmith Magazine and the Sunday New York Times, among other publications. My work has been selected and shown by Robert T. Buck, Director of the Brooklyn Museum of Art: the National Council of Jewish Woman; the Fresno Art Center and Museum; Holidays at the White House; "The Year of the American Craft"; as well a former consultant for Mercado Global, a non-profit organization. I have been a participant in several American Craft jury shows, and am a member of the Seattle Metals Guild and the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG).

I handcraft my jewelry in Sammamish, Washington.
